Schritt 2 von 3: Tap the Key
They hold the top of the phone against the Key. The apps they picked shut.

"Seamless process from start to finish."
"We ordered a batch for our department and the whole process was incredibly smooth. The communication with the 6 Years team was highly professional and smooth. Most importantly, we are very satisfied with the product itself. Does exactly what it promises!"

"The perfect end-of-year gift"
"I bought a Key for myself a few months ago and was so impressed by how much it improved my personal focus. I loved it so much that I decided to order a whole batch as an end-of-year gift for my entire team. Everyone was really surprised by the concept. It's such a unique and actually useful present to give to your employees, especially right before Christmas time."

Frequently asked questions
Can't find your answer? Send us an email at:
Support@6years.app
Do you have access to data such as which apps are blocked?
No. Your blocking choices and usage stay entirely on your device. We don't track, store, or analyze your data.
Do all phones work with 6 Years?
6 Years works on iPhone running iOS 18 or higher and Android phones running Android 8.0 or higher.
Does one Key work on more than one phone?
Yes. One Key works on an unlimited number of phones, both iOS and Android. You, your partner, and your children can all scan the same Key, with everyone keeping their own personal settings in the app.
Can we add our own logo or card?
Yes, both are optional. We can put your logo on every Key and add a card with your own words to every box. Your proposal includes a preview, so you see how it looks before anything is made.
What does our company have to manage?
Nothing. There is no dashboard, no account per employee and no setting anybody has to remember. Nobody is measured and nothing is reported back.
How do people start using it?
They scan the QR code on the card in the box, download the 6 Years app, pick the apps they want to block and tap their phone against the Key. Then they leave the Key somewhere else.
Can people not just get around it?
Not with a tap on "ignore". There's no dismiss button: the only way back into the blocked apps is to walk to the Key and scan it again. That small physical step is the whole idea.
What if someone looses their Key?
Mistakes happen. The app includes 3 emergency unlock tokens that you can use, even if your Key isn’t with you.
